Why would I purchase the VLND token?

If you don't play games, the best way to gain exposure to in-game assets is by purchasing VLND tokens. VLND token holders receive all the upside of a variety of in-game virtual assets, as well as income generated by the use of those assets.

There are no fees associated with purchasing VLND tokens. However, there is a management fee of 5.00% per year on all VLND assets under management.

By purchasing on plots.finance from the "Mint," investors can avoid slippage. In other words, investors can purchase any amount they like without affecting the price.

What chain is VLND minted on?

VLND is only mintable on Ethereum mainnet using ETH.

What does the Treasury do with income earned from VLND assets?

Is the TVL calculated based on an oracle? Or data provided by the team?

The team sets the value of different NFT traits. For now this is the best way to avoid price manipulation, since it's very easy to manipulate the floor price of these NFTs. The price is then calculated based on the NFTs and ETH held in the contract.

What happens in the case where VLND is minted to purchase lands which then decrease in value, shrinking the treasury. Isn't it possible that the majority of the VLND's treasury could end up in depreciating assets which cause a death spiral on the value of VLND?

VLND is an index fund of gaming NFTs (for now, just Pixel Lands). If these NFTs go down, then yes VLND will as well. However, VLND will always outperform the base assets, since it is also earning gaming yield plus PLOTS yield.
