Why would I buy a fraction of an in game item?

In-game item ownership is a crucial aspect of all web3 games, as it provides rewards to players and enables actual real ownership of in-game assets.

However, in-game NFTs are often out of reach for the vast majority of participants. By co-owning the items with VLND token holders, you can level up further in the game while earning income.

Why would I borrow an in game NFT?

Borrowing NFTs on Plots makes sense to gamers who don’t have the resources to purchase even a fraction of an NFT or pay monthly fees.

With this option, gamers receive no price upside of the asset. However, they do enjoy 30% of the income generated from game play. Other NFT renting platforms charge a monthly fee. Plots charges no upfront fee, but rather, the gamer pays 70% of revenues to NFT owner.

Are rewards paid out on Ethereum or L2s?

You will receive your payment directly on the blockchain where the reward token is distributed. The payment will be in the currency of the game.

Are the rewards earned from in game assets all for the game player?

No. The rewards earned from asset leveling is split between the game-player and VLND token holders.

See chart below:

Does Plots.finance charge a fee on the revenues generated from the items?

Not at first. Plots plans to take a 15% fee from revenues on all earnings once the platform has meaningful traction.

What are the fees for purchasing NFTs?

At first, none. But Plots plans to take a one-time fee of 2% of the NFT value.

For example, if you purchase an NFT for 1 ETH and choose to purchase it with a 10% down payment or 0.10 ETH, the fee for this transaction (not including variable gas fees) will be 0.02 ETH.

The total cost to purchase the NFT would be 0.12 ETH.

Who owns the other share of the NFT?

VLND token holders own the other share of the NFT.

When a purchaser buys VLND tokens by sending ETH to the VLND smart contract, the contract mints VLND tokens on Ethereum and uses the ETH to purchase virtual assets, then lists them on our platform for gamers to access.
